WOW I can't believe I only got to post 3 EDITIONS of The Dews House Hunters and it's already over!!! What can I say, we waste NO time. Our entire relationship has been this way. Moved in together after only 2-3 months, engaged after 7 months of dating, married within the year, and pregnant 2 months into marriage, we really know how to get the ball rollin'!
We looked at a total of 5 houses during our search and only one other one suited us, but the location was TERRIBLE. We came across this house back in October and KNEW it was THE ONE, I still remember emailing Mr. Husband and saying "I found your dream home!" but sadly it was out of our budget. Fast forward 130 days and the priced dropped $10K, NOW WE'RE TALKIN'! We immediately scheduled a showing for it and 2 other houses in the same town. The other two couldn't even compare to this one. When we walked in we knew right away this was our house. When I walked upstairs and saw the living room/dinning room/kitchen area I was even more certain. We put in an offer two days later and after a couple counter offers we were IN CONTRACT! I can't explain how cool it feels and how much we cannot wait to move in! We had our home inspection this week and it only confirmed what we already knew, this is a great, solid house. The inspector found NO problems whatsoever and was very impressed. YAY! We close on March 30th and move in April 2nd, CANNOT WAIT!! We are so over condo living and the 1 acre lot is going to be amazing for the dogs and Miss Kendall!
