Life After I "Dew"

1. I'm an only child and I like it that way.
2. I could eat mac & cheese every day.
3. No matter how long KP sleeps I always wish it were longer.
4. I love pizza.  Love, love, love.  Like a lot.  Like I could eat it breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
5. I am deaf in my right ear, like almost 100%.
6. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
7. I freakin' hate spiders. Like whoa!
8. I pick at my face, a lot.
9. I crack my knuckles even more.
10. I pretty much hate any movie that's 1. not a romantic comedy 2.is set in a decade I've never {or will never} lived in 3. has any sort of "gladiator" theme 4. sci-fi or 5. doesn't have Reese Witherspoon in it.
11. I always have room for ice cream.
12. I've never mowed grass and never plan to.
13. I never had beer until I met Jimmy.
14. I am a neat freak but I hate to clean, especially deep cleaning.
15. I know how to drive stick shift and change a tire.
16. I have 2 middle names and two last names.
17. I hate my handwriting.
18. If I could move to the beach I would in a heartbeat.
19. I'm really good with directions, as in North, East, South, West. I can go somewhere once and remember it forever.
20. I don't know how to play any instruments and I cannot sing.
21. In high school i was the girl that wore the JNCO and Kikwear jeans with thrift store tops and Doc Martens.
22. I've never pulled an all-nighter.
23. I always remember lots of useless information.
24. I have never met some of my closest friends.
25. Jason Mraz is my favorite musician {right now anyway}.

1. I am deaf in my right ear.  I need to get a hearing aid but I refuse.  I mean I hear enough and you know what, I kinda like not hearing EVERYTHING.  Plus it's AWESOME for sleeping at night, if Mr. Husband is snoring I just roll on to my left side and VIOLA snore no more!
2. I don't want anymore babies.  I LOVED being pregnant with KP {until the very end} BUT I am over it.  I had my thrill and now I just want to shower her with all my love and kisses.
3. I worry about money all.the.time.  It sucks, I hate it, but I can't help it.  It's ALWAYS on my mind and it's starting to become a problem.
4. I am a neat freak.  I think our house is A MESS right now but to the "normal" person it's probably clean.  Whenever I have down time, instead of relaxing, working out, sleeping, etc I am cleaning.  It's sick.
5. I want to be a full time blogger.  I wish I could quit my job and make my money doing what I love, blogging.  Need to figure out how.
6. I hate snow.  I hate cold.  I hate winter.  I live in the WRONG state.
7. I am an only child and LOVE it.  I don't even remember wanting a sibling when I was younger.  Maybe that's why I don't want anymore babies...

• Favorite Summer Movie: Definitely, 100%, hands down, no questions asked, without a doubt The Hangover. If you have not seen it yet RUN to the theaters. I am in line the day this comes out on DVD. Probably, no actually it IS, my favorite movie, EVER.




• Favorite Summer Cocktail: Well this one is a little harder but I'm going to go with my blueberry vodka tonics with lime. YUM-BO!



• Favorite Summer Song: Probably We Went Out Last Night by Kenny Chesney. LOVE this song and makes me want summer to last even longer!



• Favorite Summer Meal: Nothing beats a cheeseburger, fries, coleslaw, potatoe salad, and a nice cold beer! YUM!



• Favorite Summer Outfit: Anyone that knows me knows this is a no brainer! DRESSES! I am completely obsessed! I love dresses because they are SO easy and comfy and you can dress them up or down depending on the occasion. I pretty much wear one every day in the summer.
  



• Favorite Summer Reading: Bet you all guessed it, sTORI telling by Tori Spelling! What a great mindless summer read! Seriously I'm not a Tori fan normally but this book made me fall in love with her.



• Favorite Summer Memory: Our trip to OBX for sure. That was our first beach trip together and we could NOT have asked for a better vacation. I want to go back every year now.

My 7 traits in no particular order are:

1. Honest- I have been lied to so many times in the past that honesty has been something I really pride myself on. I think honesty is the best policy and try to live my life by that motto.
2. Obsessive Compulsive- I'm not sure where this trait came from but the older I get the more I realize I am so anal about many things, dishes being in the sink, socks on the floor, empty glasses, cans, bottles laying around. Most of my being anal has to do with cleaning and I really really am trying to not care so much about little stuff like that but sometimes I can't help it.
3. Loud- Anyone who knows me will tell you I am probably the loudest person they know. I like to blame this on the fact that I am deaf in my right ear.
4. Emotional- I recently have become my mother's daughter. I used to laugh and make fun of my mom for crying over random things (i.e. The movie "Ghost") and now I find myself crying at worse.
5. Trusting- I don't know if this is considered a good or bad trait. I have had many people take advantage of the fact that I am so trusting and I wish I could say that that has caused me to be a little more guarded but it definitely has not. I like to see the good in all people. I sometimes wish I was one of those people who you have to earn trust with but for me you have my trust right away, until you break it then it's gone forever.
6. Sensative- Future Mr will vouch for me on this one! I cannot handle critism, not done constructively even. I am super sensative and if someone points something out that makes me question myself or things I have done I become a mute. This drives Future Mr CRAZY!
7. Thoughtful- If you would have asked me in my younger years I don't think this quality would have made it on my list. I have been working on being more thoughtful not only in my relationship with Future Mr but with my friends and family as well. If that means sending a care package to a friend going through a rough spot or leaving Future Mr love notes, I like for people to know I am thinking of them and that I care.

I was tagged by my date twin Hailey to do the Honest Scrap challenge. So basically the rules are - I have to tell you 10 honest things about me that you may or may not already know. Then I tag 3 new bloggy friends.

1. I am deaf in my right ear. "Huh?", you say? Yeah, I've heard that one already.
2. I CANNOT wait to have babies. I mean I would have had them yesterday if I could! I have never had a desire to have an awesome career or travel the world, I just want to be a mom.
3. I am an only child and I like it that way. When I was younger I sort of wanted a sibling but now that I am older I love being the only. Was I spoiled? No.
4. Before I met Future Mr HoneyDew I had never tried venison, now it is a staple in our house. It's really not that different than beef. You should try it before you judge.
5. I can be very critical. I am not saying this as a good thing either. This is one characteristic I dislike about myself and I'm trying really hard to not be so judging. It's a very ugly quality.
6. I used to not believe in God. I renounced God when I was about 14-years-old and it wasn't until this past year that I have opened my life up to a higher being. I thank Future Mr HoneyDew for that. I pray daily now and spiritually feel so much better about myself and life. I can feel myself becoming a better person each day.
7. I am a reality show TV whore! There I said it! You name it, I watch it. Bachelorette? Check. My Life on the D List? Check. RHO-NY, NJ, ATL, OC? Check, check, check, and check. Big Brother? Check. Real World? Check. Kendra? Check. Oh I could keep going but you get the idea.
8. I secretly (not so much now that it's on the Internet) LOVE the new Eminem CD, Relapse. He's vulgar, gross, violent, mean, angry, etc but he's a genius. You can't deny it.
9. I like to read but it takes me FOREVER to get through a book. Every time I sit down to read I either a.) fall asleep or b.) think of all the other things I could/should be doing, i.e. cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, etc.
10. Most of my friends do not get along with their in-laws and I don't know how they do it. I love love love my future-in-laws and couldn't imagine it any other way. As a matter of fact we spend more time with them than my own family and I'm perfectly OK with it.

6. Chicken Soup for the Bride's Soul. This book has some of the most romantic stories. I could sit and read it for hours.

The lovely Miss Arlynn over at Fleur De-Licious tagged me play a game of summer tag! I have to name my top 5 favorite things about summer and tag 5 of my favorite blog friends. So here goes...

1. Ice Cream.

I serioulsy cannot get enough of this stuff! I can eat it all year round, my FloMa says "only in Ohio do you eat ice cream when it's below zero" and it's true! I especially love it in the hot summer days.

2. Sunglasses {Big Sunnies Preferably}.

I wear my sunglasses at night...not really but I would. I love sunnies and wear them if the slightest bit of sun is peaking out. Love them!

3. Cookouts.

I can't decide what I love more, bugers, hot dogs, baked beans, beer, good friends, corn hole, the list goes on. There's something about getting together and firing up the grill for the first time that just says "aaahhhh...sweet summertime".

4. Blonde{ness}.


My two favorite blondes, Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood. Sure these two are fighting over Tony Romo (or are they still? I can't keep up) but Tony isn't the only thing these girls have in common, they both have the most beautiful shade of blonde hair! I am a fellow blonde and I am constantly striving to get that perfect shade and these ladies have it right! Loves it!

5. Pool time.

Hi my name is Shannon and I am a pool slut. I could spend every waking second of my summer laying poolside. I'm not as much of a swimmer as I am a tanner (if that's a word). I love laying out next to the pool with a nice cold (alcoholic) beverage, a good gossip mag and some tunes and just baking!
