Bloggerversary!

So not only did this week mark my 2 year wedding anniversary, but also my 3 year blog anniversary! That's right, I've been writing this nonsense for 3 years {yesterday}. And to make this week even better, I reached 500 readers yesterday too! So basically this week rocks my socks.

Let's take a lil trip down memory road, shall we?

When I started this blog I was 3 days engaged. I had no idea what I was going to blog about or if anyone would read it for that matter. I really just wanted a place to put all my wedding ideas and keep everyone, like the bridesmaids, on the same page.

I started dieting and exercising big time, even started Weigh In Wednesdays to track my progress. I was so obsessed with working out I got up at 4:30 am to do it, and you know what? I miss that now. But I wish I could go back and tell this skinny bitch to "shut up" because she looks freaking GREAT!

Wedding preparations had taken over my life. From planning, to showers, to DIY cork placecard holders I was in complete wedding mode. But it was all worth it because we had the best wedding we could have ever asked for, even the guests said so. I would go through it all over again and not change a thing.

And then we got pregnant. Yes it was fast but that's how our whole relationship has been. We moved in after just a couple months of dating, got engaged just 7 months after living together and married in exactly one year from that. It only made sense that we get pregnant just as quickly, right?

Honestly, I had a great pregnancy. I complained a lot though. I was uncomfortable at the end, and it was HOT hot that summer, but overall it was great. I never got morning sickness, no complications, and I got what I wanted, A GIRL! She was overdue and so we had to evict her and even that didn't get her going. After a few hours my doctor told us that there was no way she was coming out on her own so a c-section was scheduled and 15 minutes later I held my girl for the first time.

Since that day I went from a celebrity gossip loving, fashion junkie, husband lover, to a mommy blogger. And you know what? I'm ok with it. I have loved sharing the last 3 years of my life with you. I am so honored that you still come back and read after all this time. I'm sure I've lost people along the way, people who don't want to hear about my cute daughter or how I hate cleaning, and that's ok too. Thank you for reading and sharing this journey with me, you are all the BEST.
