Bag Piper

I'm still on the fence with this one but Future Mr loved the idea so much that I caved. We are hiring a bag piper to play during our ceremony. Future Mr's family is Irish so it *sort of* suits us.
We debated on a string quartet but the price difference between them and our bag piper was extremely significant, so that helped make up our mind. I hope I'm not disappointed!!!

  2. It'll take me right back to my days at Alma College (home of the Scots)! The college gave out scholarships to bagpipers to get them to the school...had to have bagpipes at Opening Convocation, Honors Convocation, Graduation, and, of course, all the football games!

Be sure to ask your bagpiper if he'll be going "true Scot". Hehe...

  4. I think it'll be fabulous and TOTALLY something different --

From what I can remember... a bag pipper's music can be incredibly emotional and touching.

  10. Sounds so fun! I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice! Strings are always nice, but it seems everyone has them these days-- this will be a really unique treat for your guests! Best of luck with your planning-- Let me know if there is anything I can do to help!
