Am I the only one NOT excited for New Moon? Please! Someone else tell me they just DON'T GET the fascination with this craze. Read the first book, it was ok. Watched the first movie, HATED it. Hated it so much that I don't want to ready or watch anymore Twilight related things. I blogged about this before and I still stand by my feelings. To those who are excited to see it, I really do hope you enjoy it! It does look FAR better than the first thanks to a WAY bigger budget. Still, I am not sold.

ReplyDeleteYou're not alone! I don't get it either! I read the first book for a grad class I was taking and I just didn't get it! After I finished, I googled the answers to questions I had about what was going to happen and decided I didn't need to read the rest. She's a good storyteller, but not really a good writer. Just not my thing at all! I figured the first movie was hokey because the commercials sure looked hokey! Glad I'm not alone!

ReplyDeleteI haven't read it or watched it - there's just something about the brooding teenagers that makes me throw up in my mouth s little - its just not that serious! I do have to admit though- I love me some True Blood- that is one sexy show!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely ADORE the books but the 1st movie was so shitteous I turned it off 1/2 way through. RPatz or not, it was terrible. I def will not be seeing the new movie.

ReplyDeletehaha!! my bff loved the first movie (she hasn't read the books) and so i promised to watch the first so we can go and see the second together :) i started reading twilight but then got sidetracked, and i just re-started it, so we'll see :) i always hate movies when i've already read the book so i'm sure that even if i love the book i'll hate the movie!

You are definitely not alone. I have never read the books, nor do i have the intention to do so. I saw the first movie out of curiosity and did not like it-the acting was horrendous! I'm getting tired of the Twilight/New Moon craziness!
