So this Tummy Tuesday is VERY exciting because yesterday we got to SEE and HEAR baby butterbean!!! OMG Talk about the most SURREAL experience EVER! To say I wasn't nervous would be a lie, but turns out I had no reason to be! He/she was wiggly and kicked it's little legs and even "waved" at us! shutuprightnow! I didn't cry, can't believe it, but I was speechless (for the first time in my life). I want to go back now so I can actually speak! Mr Husband was completely in awe of our little miracle. He was so adorable! He kept saying "oh my, oh my! Look at it!!!", love this man.
Introducing Baby Butterbean Dew
As for me, still doing alright. I'm SUPER tired these days, oh if I could just take a nap at work I think I would feel MUCH better! Smells are bothering me this week. For example, Mr Husband is making some jerky right now and the smell of it kinda makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little. My appetite for macaroni and cheese is GROWING, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't eat it! Seriously I bought Easy Mac just so I could have it for lunch. Oh and Chipotle, could eat it every day too! Mmmm...I'm making myself hungry now! Another cute development, the dogs TOTALLY know! I'm serious. Casey girl is our chill dog, couldn't care less about what we do but NOW she's up our butts! I mean she's even sleeping in bed with us (that NEVER happens). Chanel Belle is also very affectionate these days, always wanting to lay on me and give me kisses. I try to tell them what's going on, but I don't think they understand. Still so weird that they can sense this stuff! Oh and we found out that the one hospital here is opening a BRAND NEW maternity wing in 2 weeks and it's going to be top of the line, state of the art...HELLO I'm having my baby THERE!!! And without futher ado...mama Dew at 10 weeks 3 days, ENJOY!
congrats! what an exciting time!
ReplyDeleteoh and I LOVE your new header!
I love reading your Tummy Tuesdays! You look great Mama! :)
ReplyDeleteThe ultra sound is so cute! It is so amazing! I hope your tiredness and strong sense of smell go away soon!
ReplyDeleteI used to get these annoying nosebleeds that would happen at the worst times. We were house hunting and it never failed that I'd get one just as we start getting ready to look at a home, so I was stuck in the car with my head back and tons of tissues. (yeah- after the first one I made sure I kept a box of tissues in the car)! Everything is worth it in the end though!!
Yayyy!!! How exciting :) Congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, soooooooo precious!!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHey, I just wanted to say congrats from Adam and me. How crazy is it that we are due a day apart? Hope you have a great pregnancy!

PS Totally jealous your ultrasound pic looks like an actual baby...ours looked more like a creature from the abyss!
I’ve heard that dogs are like that once you get preggers! I’ve also heard that a month or two before you have the baby, that you should carry around a babydoll to get the dogs familiar with one being around.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad baby Dew is doing well!!
