IT'S A GIRL!!!
I told myself and everyone that if they told me she was a girl I wouldn't believe it till I went to my doctor for confirmation around 20 weeks. WELL...after the money shots we got yesterday, there is NO denying it! Miss Kendall Paige was VERY cooperative and the ultrasound technician was 100% positive that she was, in fact, a she!
She was a little wiggle worm and did some very cute things for her pictures {I have to scan them in at work today, sorry}. She opened her mouth, covered her eyes, and even played with her umbilical cord! What a silly baby! She measured right on track and her due date is still 08.07.10. Her heartbeat was right at 155 AND we got a teddy bear {well a bunny} with her heartbeat in it...HOW CUTE?!
Mr. Husband's mom has four boys, she always wanted a little girl and even thought about adopting at one point. She was SO excited when she heard the words, "It's a GIRL!", for the first time. She cried and said, "HOW SURE ARE YOU?" If someone took those words back I don't think she would get over it. I am SO happy for her, she's finally getting her girl!
As for me...I'm feeling great. Still don't FEEL pregnant so I love that we went to see her yesterday so I have that reassurance. The good news is I FINALLY am wanting to eat veggies! Through this whole pregnancy the very thought of veggies has made my stomach turn and Sunday I woke up craving a veggie tray! I'm sure Kendall is very happy about that! Sleep still stinks! I toss and turn A LOT and pee even more. I read that sleeping on the left improves bloodflow and keeps your blood pressure down so I've been sleeping mostly on the left BUT I didn't realize that sleeping on the right is completely uncomfortable now! I feel like I have a hard time breathing on my right side and well it's just not as comfortable.

ReplyDeleteHappy Shopping!! I love gap.com and oldnavy.com. They have great clearance stuff and I usually buy the next season ahead of time (like I bought her summer stuff for next summer at the end of last summer). She is true to size for the months/weight. Don't buy too much 0-3, or even 6 months. They grow so quick and I got sick over the stuff I bought and she never wore or wore once. Plus, people will buy you a ton! Girls are so much fun!! Yay team PINK!! :o)
