Tummy Tuesdays- Week 17

Ok so maybe last weeks’ fetal movement wasn’t exactly Kendall because I haven’t “felt” her since. I don’t know though because the books say you may not feel them everyday in the beginning so maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t, only time will tell. I do know that Mr. Husband is DYING to be able to feel her himself. He says it’s not fair because I get to “hang out” with her all day! Silly boy, you can hang out with her AS MUCH as you want when she’s here! Promise!

**SANDWICH UPDATE**

I bought all the ingredients for the Schlotzsky’s veggie sandwich on Friday and have made 2 since, AMAZING! Craving satisfied! I knew I could do it!!! Here it is open face style!

My mom told me this week my boobs look like “stripper boobs”, thanks mom! They feel more like Dolly Parton boobs, but stripper boobs is a good description too. They are out of control and have already outgrown the giant new bra I bought a couple months ago. GREAT! My aunt even asked if I had implants. Yep, milk implants.

I was reading that pregnant women get an increased amount of mucous right around 16 weeks and boy am I noticing that one! I feel like my nose is just full of boogers! I told my mom this and she laughed, until I read it to her straight from the book! YUCK! That’s not the only part of me that’s producing more gunk, but we won’t go there.

Oh and I almost forgot {fitting when you see where I’m going with this} but “pregnant brain” has totally taken over! What is pregnant brain? That’s you’re new brain. The one that forgets something in a matter of minutes. It’s really fun {read the sarcasm}. I brought Mr. Husband leftovers from my birthday dinner and knew we had Bob Evans mashed potatoes {don’t judge, they taste just like the real deal and if you don’t believe me try them yourself!} in the fridge for him to have but TOTALLY forgot about them until AFTER he was done eating, wife of the year right here! Then this morning something happened {can’t remember right now- I kid you not} and Mr. Husband just says “pregnant brain” and that’s all there is to it. It’s just the way it is. I’m usually not very forgetful but these days I’m surprised I remember to get dressed before I leave the house.

Oh and the headaches are back. Missed you {not}! The caffeine seems to work but some days it doesn’t even do the trick. On my birthday I went to bed with one, woke up a bazillion times throughout the night, and finally caved and took 2 Tylenol at 3 am just to wake up at 5:30 with the same damn headache. Awesome. I remember the days when sleep was the answer to a headache, I would wake up and it would be gone! Not now.

And here’s the 17w3d belly shot. Stay tuned for this evening I will post a night time picture so you can see the BIG difference from morning to evening. It’s really exhilarating!

  4. I couldn't feel Grayson move until 18 weeks. I didn't feel every day. I still don't feel him every day but the movements start to come more often and you will definitely know when she moves. My nose is so stopped up I am miserable. It won't go away. Oh the joys of being pregnant!

  5. I read your blog everyday but have never commented before.

Congrats on all the fun things that have been happening in your life.

I wanted to share that I too suffered from the most miserable headaches with all three of my pregnancies. The second pregnancy was the worst. Tylenol does nothing for it. I hope they stop soon.

  8. Oh the joys of pregnancy!!! It's all so exciting though that for the most part you don't mind and most of it you'll forget later, the bad parts anyway! Hubby calls it mom-nesia! BTW it NEVER goes away, I still have it 18 months later! Buy lots of sticky notes and write important things down! LOL
