Tummy Tuesday- Week 30

10 more weeks, really? Holy moley where has the time gone? Honestly, I know I say it every week but, I feel like JUST yesterday I announced that we are pregnant!
Kendall and I had a bachelorette party this weekend and we had a BLAST! I did get some VERY dirty looks from people though! What? A pregnant girl can't go bar hopping with her girlfriends? We laughed, we danced, we drank water, it was so much fun! Kendall was VERY active the whole time, this girls gonna be WILD! Watch out! We also went swimming for the first time and whoa baby! My new bathing suit is SEX-AY! It did feel great to float around and take all that extra weight of my body for a while. I can see lots of pool days in my future this summer!
Speaking of which, our a/c is broken. Literally the hottest weekend this year and we are SWEATING to death. Not comfortable for this pregnant lady. It's miserable! I came home Friday filled up the bath tub with ONLY cold water and just sat in it. Heaven.
My baby shower is this weekend and I'm so excited! I will admit, I feel a little bad considering these same people JUST bought us wedding gifts less than a year ago...oops. I can't wait to see everyone and most especially my FL grandma! I even surprised her with a 31 week visit to the 3D ultrasound place! She's just going to die when she sees our girl on that screen! Can't wait!
Shaving the legs {and any other parts} at this point are comical. I literally break a sweat and it is not pretty. I've had some people recommend Mr. Husband take over at this point...ummm...I don't think so! Maybe I'll just be a hippie this summer? OK nevermind, that would NEVER work.
Oh and to those that say things like "wow it looks like you're due any day now" or "wow you're getting BIG", I'm not sure if that is supposed to be a compliment or what but it's not nice. I don't appreciate it. I still have over 2 months so the fact that I look like I'm due NOW doesn't make me feel good. Kthanksbye.

  3. Oh I feel for ya on the ac, our power was out for several days after a hurricane I think while I was at the end of my pregnancy, I didn't even want to wear clothes I was so hot!
As far as the legs go, I was able to shave them still while preggo but after my c-section it was impossible so my sister bought me the Veet stuff with that plastic razor. I ended up sitting on the side of the tub and hubby shaved my legs for me. Better than a razor and it wasn't that embarrassing...after giving birth or in my case trying then having him see my innards and having him help me in the bathroom embarrassed wasn't in my vocab anymore!

  4. Some people need lessons on what to say to others, ugh. You're looking good, I can't believe you are only 2 months out, that's crazy how fast it's gone!

  7. It is supposed to be 100 degrees here this week in Texas. I'll trade places with you. Surely it isn't that hot in Ohio. You look great!

  8. You don't look like you're JUST about to give birth or super huge. People just need to learn to keep their mouths shut. Next time someone remarks about how big your stomach is you have my permission to say something about the size of their mouths!

I took a cake decorating class at a local craft store when I was pg, and one of the managers happened to have enrolled as well. When I stood up during introductions, she was like, "WOW I've never gotten to see someone go into labor in one of our classes before!" I shot her a dirty look and told her that she wouldn't either, because I wasn't due for another two months. A bunch of the other ladies snickered and she got really red in the face. I didn't care though, because she deserved to be embarrassed!
