Can I just tell you how peeing my pants excited I was to FINALLY participate in a blog meet up? FINALLY! I was starting to think bloggers only existed in Arkansas and Texas but lo and behold Columbus has a fine group of girls, if I may say so myself!
I hadn’t met or talked to any of these girls besides Lindsey, who secretly blog/condo stalked me before we moved to the country {no she wasn’t the reason we moved}. So I was so nervous to see all new faces and worried that we’d have nothing to talk about. Well let me assure you, that was NOT the problem. I don’t think my mouth shut for the entire 2 hours we were together. Sorry girls! It was awesome to see how a bunch of strangers can get together and have such a great time. Our waiter, Justin, also found it amusing that we were all meeting for the first time and we threatened him with bad
reviews on our blogs if he slipped up {he did not, he was FABULOUS}.
We ate dinner at Cheesecake Factory and had to take the gratuitous table shot {thank you Justin}.
I got the infamous red velvet cheesecake, TO.DIE.FOR. Ah-mazing!

Seriously she’s so damn cute I want to just stuff her in my purse and bring her home with me.
I loved meeting each and every one of these girls and CAN’T WAIT for our next meet-up/mash-
up. I honestly feel like I have 8 new friends!

That is SO cool. I just recently met one of my blogger buddies when we found out we were in the same organization. She was just mentioning a blog meet up in our area, but I can't go to the one on Wednesday! Such a bummer!!

ReplyDeleteI love Blog meet ups....heck it's where half my friends have come from since we moved! Now you all have to plan one when I'm in town next month....I may not be a true Cbus blogger anymore, but it is where I started blogging so I like to consider myself an honorary member. :)
