My {Lame} Christmas List

The other day I mentioned that I couldn't come up with anything I wanted for Christmas.  Trust me, this came just as much of a shock to me too.  Normally I have my list ready, pictures attached with the store and prices included starting in November.  This year?  Not so much.  In fact, everyone {and I mean everyone} keeps teasing me because "there has to be more!".  I have wracked my brain and managed to come up with a list.  A pathetic list, but a list.  I'm dedicating this year to comfort.  Obviously.

That is all I could come up with.

I'm saying it has something to do with the fact that I'm unemployed for the first time this year.  Gone are the days of Tiffany jewelry and Coach bags and instead they have been replaced by more practical and useful items {minus the Wayfarers}.  My list is full of things that I'd love to have but wouldn't spend the money on because I could put it to better use by buying diapers or clothes for Kendall.

And, you'll notice, everything {minus the Wayfarers} on my list is under $100 too.  That's how I roll. And the good majority is from my favorite store, and yours, Tar-Jey.

Like I said, the theme this year seems to be comfort.  Everyone in my family has moccasin slippers but me so obviously I need to get with the program and these babies are a mere $20, sold.

I've never been much of a robe wearer but now that I'm rocking my SAHM status and it's fa-reezing, I thought nothing sounded more snuggly at 9 a.m. than a nice cozy robe.

The toss pillows are a necessity.  My couch has been adorned with these hideous ones I got for free last year and I can't take it any longer. Plus our kitchen, dinning room, living room is one big open area and the colors in this pillow will be the finishing touch to tie them altogether.

I always hated Wayfarers and made fun of people that wore them because I thought they were so ridiculous looking.  That is until I heard they have "new" Wayfarers and tried them on.  They basically look good on everyone, even me.  So of course, I must have them.

I've also never really been a fan of the puffer vest until recently.  Perhaps it's because my husband told me how much he loves them on girls or perhaps its because this girl makes them look so cute.

The first time someone posted these adorable PJs to Instagram I was in love.  And then another person posted them and another and another until I had dreams about these very pajamas.  So since everyone else is doing it I should too.

And you don't need to remind me of the time I said I hated TOMS.  That was then, this is now.  Now I want a gray pair.

Items not listed are obviously my bedroom furniture and gift cards from a variety of stores including, but not limited to, Target, Old Navy, Kiki La'Rue, Nordstrom, Kohls, Marshall's, Kroger, Francesca's Collection, Starbucks, Amazon, you get the picture.

  1. I NEED a pair of Toms, specifically matching Toms with my baby girl! I know LAME but I have always DREAMED of being matchy matchy with my child once in a while!

I too need throw pillows - my current ones are in need of retirement to the dog room!
