SO WHAT! Wednesday

Life After I DewThis week I'm saying SO WHAT if...

I watched Rich Kids of Beverly Hills yesterday and hated it.

So I've seen people talk about this show on social media, it's their guilty pleasure.  I saw the "cast" on Bethenny a few weeks ago and...wow. But I don't have E! so I've never been able to watch this train wreck myself.  Until yesterday.

Yesterday I was at my in laws, working out while Kendall was at preschool, and I turned it on.  To see what all the hype was about.  And I could barely walk on the treadmill because I had to pick my jaw up off the belt.  Holy guacamole.

For example, the blonde one {I didn't catch their names} said she gets manicures EVERY Monday because having chipped nails is the equivalent of wearing dirty underwear.  Say what?!

These "kids" just live in such a distorted state of reality, it's unbelievable.  I was cringing with each scene.  The way they talk?  Gag me.  And what 24-year-old looks at 3 million dollar homes of her first house?  Bananas.

Listen, I can take a lot of trash TV. Housewives?  Obsessed.  Sister Wives?  Watching now. Teen Mom?  LOVE.  But this, I just could not change the channel fast enough.  Being that I was on the treadmill and had no access to the remote, I had to suffer through an entire half hour episode.

So...have you had the "pleasure" of watching this show?  What do you think?

  1. I can't bring myself to watch it. Just can't. But I do love some Housewives! And maybe Venderpump Rules. Ok, and occasionally Mob Wives...

  2. I watched one episode and that was all I could take. I can even watch the Kardashians but this show is just mind numbingly boring and ridiculous and I can't stand the way they talk.

  4. I seriously want to smack them in their little rude, entitled faces. When I saw "kids" I really thought it would be like teenagers. These are adults. It's hard for me to believe there are people actually like this. Ridiculous.

  8. Oh my goodness... I thought I was the ONLY one who couldn't stand this show. I had heard a lot about it so when I was home the other day and there was a marathon on I decided to check it out. I'm not sure I even lasted 10 minutes before changing the channel... I think I turned it as soon as one of the girls couldn't figure out which like $10,000 purse she wanted. Talk about SPOILED.

  10. I watched it. I cringed...and then watched another episode. I only stopped watching because the Kardashians came on next. I don't know...it was like a trainwreck I couldn't look away from . like the one girl who was just soooo sad her parents cut her off. I've been "cut off' for 10 years. Its ok sweetie.

  11. I semi-watched a full episode. I only watched because I saw the two main chicks on an interview on the Today show and was curious. They were trying to say they weren't like "all the rest of 'em"--that they're actually trying to live independently from their parents' money and become successfull on their own, as well as contributing members of society. I forget who was interviewing them, but she asked if they do charity work. The one girl said, yes, that she ran a blood drive (once, I think). A blood drive?! Don't get me wrong.... that's SUPER great and very helpful, but that's your idea of charity when you have MILLIONS of dollars? I just can't...

  12. I was cooking and watching "sex & the city" when it ended and this show came on. Brett was wrangling Lily in the bath tub and I had raw chicken up to my elbows so I couldn't change the channel. I think that some of the people on there are inconsiderate. The episode I watched was when they were in mexico and the girl shows up a few hours later while the rest of them are waiting. I would have been LIVID. It just made me disgusted (and I'm a person who loooooves reality tv).
