O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

What sounds more fun than taking a 3 month old out in 30 degree weather to chop down our very first Christmas tree?

the decorated tree!

and our little helper PASSED out

What do you do?  Real or fake?  Do you chop down your own?

  1. REAL all the way!! :) We can't chop ours down though, because we go for the Fraser Fir and they don't grown in good ol Georgia! But we do go to a farm to pick it up! :) LOVE your tree! It's beautiful!

  3. Fake, and prelit. I think that once Kinley gets a little older we'll start doing the 'hunt and chop' method. Your tree is beautiful! Do you do yearly themes for your tree?

  4. I love this! I have never chopped down a tree before, but I seriously want to have that tradition! That's so fun! We always had real ones when I was a kiddo but since I've moved out, it's just easier for my mom to have a fake one... When I have a family, I will definitely want a real one. :)

  5. We used to chop down a tree when I was a kid but now we have a fake one. I think when my boys are older, I'll talk the hubs into a family outing for a real tree!

  8. Much to Adam's dismay our tree comes prelit....in a box. I love it. And for his sake buy a few extra tree scented candles! I said maybe next year we could do a real one....but I just remember what a pain they were as a kid.

  9. We have a fake tree. Maybe we'll try a real one one day. I don't think I could deal with the mess!
