It's official.
I have a toddler.
No longer a baby.
No longer a baby.
I mean look at her all grown up and hanging with the big kids.
Just like, "oh hey mom, these my friends, I'm big like them".
And I'm all, "WHERE'S MY BABY?!"
As hard as it for me to accept, she's a toddler now. A running, tantrum throwing, cheesy grinning, full of energy toddler.
I've struggled with calling her that for the simple fact that I'd keep her my baby forever if I could. I know there's no more babies in our future so I just want to squeeze every minute of baby out of her that I can.
But the truth remains, she's a toddler.
And she's mine, all mine. I know I can't rewind time so we will celebrate toddlerhood. This stage, although very trying, is very fun and rewarding at the same time.
To toddlers everywhere!
You two ladies are just beautiful! Love you both!
ReplyDeleteShe's just so stinkin' cute. I die.
ReplyDeleteAs hard as it is, we're both in the same boat. It kind of hit me yesterday when I picked Chloe up for day care. I picked her up and carried her out the door. And once we got out to the play area, she pushed away from me and wanted to get down. So, I put her down, and she walked the rest of the way out the door to the truck. LOL! There goes my baby...
ReplyDeleteShe is sooo cute!! This is a Great stage but my kids are a little older and they are so much fun. Although some days I wish they were still babies, hey we can wish right??
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about soaking up every minute of baby. J is our first and probably last so I'm trying to cherish ever second that he's tiny. Then last night I realized he's getting so big! Sooner than I want to I'll be writing this toddler post. Even if she's not a baby anymore, at least she is an adorable toddler :)
ReplyDeleteHang in their momma, I know you can handle this toddlerhood gig!
Look at her with all the big kids!! Make it stop!! :(
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm right there with you.. Just trying to soak all this in. Sigh, why do they have to grow so fast?!?
