Hairy Post

Last Monday when I posted my MMM vlog I got tons of comments on my hair, believe it or not.  I was just as shocked as you because I had my hair in a sad excuse for a messy bun and was in serious need of a dye job and bang trim.  But alas, I like to give you what you want, I'm an enabler.

So there you have it.  That's how to get The Shannon {not to be confused with The Rachel}.
So see, it's pretty simple.  The blog I'm referring to, The Small Things, is amazing.  I have to give credit where credit is due and that girl knows how to do hair.  I must start incorporating more of her tips and tricks into my everyday life.
Also, while we're talking about hair I gave dry shampoo a whirl last Friday.  I have been wanting to try it but have feared the results.  I figured the day I got my hair done was the perfect opportunity because I don't normally wash my hair before I go anyway.  Two word review, SHIT SANDWICH.

Maybe my hair is just too greasy for this nonsense.  I followed the directions to a T and it still looked greasy {and wet} after.  No gracias.
As for that blonde hair update?  Well you knew I couldn't hold out on you and make you wait for another post {see, enabler}.

I love it so much!  It feels so good to be back to my "roots".  And the best part?  I match my girl now!

    Love the blonde! I love Tresemme dry shampoo but it worked better in my blonde hair. It almost looks gray in my hair now...ick.

    Love the blonde! And I could never do dry shampoo either. No need to even try it. My hair gets so oily I just know I would hate it.

    I do love you with dark hair. BUT I gotta say, I like the blonde better. Maybe because I am living vicariously through you because I can't pull it off. Either way, loves it!

    I like the blonde! I went dark while preggers.. and then the boy decided to come out blonde.. so I had to switch it up to match him.

    I've tried the dry shampoo..and it makes my hair look even more greasy! UGH..damn you fine thin blonde hair.

    You do have some kick-ass bangs. And KP is so sweet!

    Ive tried the dry shampoo and ugh. It doesnt do much. Yet I still try when I am going on my 3rd day of not washing ;)

    Now that you're blonde- try baby powder on your roots when it's greasy! :) better than any dry shampoo.

    What kind of dry shampoo did you use?? I just bought Dirty Secret by Tigi...I have yet to use it. I'm scared now....
