@!#$%^& Tuesday

  • I am so damn pissed off about my domain name, you have no idea.  So pissed that I didn't even sign into blogger once yesterday.  So pissed that I almost want to stop blogging altogether.  It seems as though no one wants to help.  Not Blue Host and certainly not Blogger.  It's annoying and frustrating.  I am back to using my blogspot address {www.butterfliesandheaveneyes.blogspot.com} for the time being {hopefully not permanently}.  The thing is my posts are only showing up for about half of my audience.  Annoying.  So I apologize.  I will continue to update my Facebook page and Twitter and hope that helps keep you in the loop.  Until then just know I'm crabby.
  • I have been tossing around a few job ideas but I just don't know what is worth the risk and what is just not possible.  I would love to do something from home.  I wish that my Avon stuff would take off and I could make a career out of it but I just don't see that happening.  {p.s. I have a free shipping code for first time customers so leave me a comment if you want to place an order.  Please?  With a cherry on top?} So I have to try other avenues and hope that something works out.
  • Jimmy and I have been addicted to Sons of Anarchy this past week.  We literally watch an episode or two every single night after Kendall goes to bed.  I'm not 100% sure what's going on all the time but I do know that Jax is hot and I dream about the day that he cuts his hair.  Also Peg Bundy is amazing on that show, love her.
  • I know August is a long way away but I cannot help dream about our family vacation to the beach.  I have visions of what this trip will be and it's nothing short of glorious.  Also?  I'm getting up and running on the beach during sunrise if it kills me.  It's something I've always wanted to do and even talked about doing {but never did} the last time we were at the beach.  I will do it, even if it's just once, this time.
  • We ate pizza twice this weekend, don't judge, and Kendall calls it "pee-pee".  Yep.  So that's fun.  Also?  She saw me getting dressed this week and now knows "boobies" and can say it clearer than any other word in her vocabulary.  Great.  She can also count to 3 {kinda} and hearing her say "two" is beyond the cutest thing ever.  She's got this little southern {sort of} accent and says "teeew".  So cute.  Melts my heart.
  • Don't forget to go and place an order with Kodi.  Thirty-One has some great products this time around and you get the chance to get a free URU Thermal Tote just for placing an order!
  • Speaking of shopping, Little Laws Prints is back from a mini vaca and offering a 10% discount now through Sunday {code:  bemyvalentine12}.  Just in time for your Valentine's day goodies!!!
  • Oh and did I mention I have poison ivy?  Yeah.  I bet you are saying, "How?  It's winter!  You can't get poison ivy in the winter!"  And I am here, my friends, to tell you yes you can.  I have it BAD on the backs of both my thighs to the point that it looks like a flesh eating disease.  How's that for a visual?  Got any home remedies?  I've already been pouring bleach on it and using anti itch creams.
So that's all I've got on this Tuesday.  SO WHAT! Wednesday will resume as planned tomorrow although I'm not sure how the button is going to work out.  It will be available, obviously, but it won't like right.  UGH can someone help me get it figured out already!?  OK I'm done whinning.  Speaking of w{h}ine, I'm thinking of giving it up {but not till this blog shit gets worked out}.

Peace, with chicken grease,
Photobucket

  1. I hope you get the domain stuff figured out soon! Such a pain!

I am desperately trying to think of jobs I can do from home too but I am coming up with nothing. Any ideas to pass along to me I would be very grateful! :)

  2. I recommend Technu for the poison ivy. My husband used to do surveying and was always getting poison ivy when he went tramping around in the woods. This stuff clears it up fast.

  4. 1) Peter loooooved SOA. I never gave it a chance but am guessing I may have gotten hooked too if I did.

    2) Have you thought about trying to sell Advocare? I don't know if it's big in your area or not, but it's taking off like crazy around here. Some friends of ours (old neighbors) are really high up in it now (they started selling just like Avon or Pampered Chef or any of those other companies) but got in at the RIGHT TIME and are making tons of money now. Just an idea, with how healthy and fit you are now. :) I can send you their link if you're interested. (Also, I am NOT a seller or don't even use it, I just was passing along an idea for you!)

  6. We've had "peepee" for dinner twice in the same week and nachos for dinner on Sunday (for the Super Bowl), so no judgies here!

I hope can find a good work from home job...I know there is a site that you can post your skills on and get some "consultant" type jobs entering database info, building spreadsheets etc but I can't remeber the name (sorry). But that is somehting you can look into. That way you could take on as much or as little as you have time for while you are home.

  9. How on earth did you get poison ivy!? I have really liked some avon mark products in the past...any recommendations for something to wear on my face? Not a foundation, maybe a tinted moisturizer? I love my Laura Mercier but it's an expensive habit to have :)

  10. A! I tried to respond through email but you're set up as a no-reply email. I would HIGHLY recommend the Mark tinted moisturizer. I use it every day and LOVE it! Sometimes I don't even need foundation w/it!

  11. Gah! Chloe is such a little bugger!! She refuses to talk when I want to go over stuff like that. Oh well I guess. She will get it at some point. LOL!! Sue has just started saying hi and bye. So that's cute. Lol

  12. So sorry about your blog issues, but it's showing up in my reader!

If your poison ivy is bad, you might consider getting a steroid shot - I know it sounds extreme, but it clears up SO.MUCH.FASTER. I had it on my face/eye area once and (obviously) had to go that route and it worked so fast!

  13. For the poison ivy, get Technu!! I am so allergic to poison ivy that I get it just by being downwind of the darn thing. And I had it in winter 2 years ago so I feel your pain! You can get Technu at most drugstores or grocery stores - it is a lifesaver!

  14. Run a baking soda paste of the poison ivy!!! Just water and baking soda and mix it until it is a smooth paste and smooth it on!! It is cool and it will neutralize the itchiness!! Also... turn you blow dryer on as hot as it can get and basically burn it. It feels wonderful (no sarcasm). Good luck!!!!!I have had poison oak and ivy way to many times and in places the you REALLLLYYYY dont want to get it and those two things and steroids shots from my doctor were the only things that helped!!!

  17. NO to Jax cutting his hair!!!!!! He does it soon and I hate it!! We're also currently obsessed with SAMCRO. Like they're showing up in my dreams obsessed. Oops.

E is obsessed with "boobies" right now. She really likes to point at mine and go "Mommy's boobies!!" as loud as she can in public. Fun right?

  18. I had something similar happen to me! I bought mine through blogger and then it expired without them telling me. They wanted me to pay like 300 dollars for my domain! I was so mad! PS all of your last 11 posts just showed up in my reader!
