Is That Normal?

Every week SO WHAT! Wednesday grows.  It grows and grows and grows, every week.  I am always shocked by the number of link-ups and every week I really try to read {and hopefully respond} to a lot, if not all, of the link-ups.  I try.  It doesn't always happen but most of the time I read them, if nothing else.
So to show my love and reciprocate I want to start participating in more link-ups on a regular basis.  There are some good ones out there, way better than my bitch-fest, and I want to get them to grow as much as SWW has for me.
A couple weeks ago my friend Jennifer linked up with Allyce for Is That Normal Tuesdays. I thought it was so fun and such a neat, new idea and I knew I had to link-up.  It's kinda like the Stars Are Just Like US section of US Weekly, well at least that's how I see it anyway.

1. Is it normal to lie about your age?
I mean I'm sure the older you get the more "normal" that is but for a girl in her late ::ahem last year of:: twenties I think it's silly to lie about my age. I have no shame, I'm 29 and loving it.  We'll see how "gracefully" I age and then we'll re-address that question.
2.  Is it normal to have mistaken someone for the opposite sex?
Umm...I know if someone thought I was a dude I'd be HIGHLY offended.  Considering the DDs I'm carrying around upstairs I think that'd be a very unlikely chance but still.  No I don't think that's normal.  I think it's rude.
3. Is it normal to go #2 in a public restroom?
Funny because my family JUST had this conversation this week.  I think it's totally normal.  If you gotta go, you gotta go.  Jimmy, on the other hand, does not think it's normal and will wait all day until he comes home and I think THAT is not normal.
4.  Is it normal to sit RIGHT NEXT TO a stranger at the movie theater?
No. I mean unless there is absolutely NO other seat available that's just creepy. At least one seat in between please.
5.  Is it normal to lie about your weight?
Totally.  I mean you tell me one girl who's drivers license actually has her true weight and I'll send you one million doll hairs.
6.  Is it normal to sing and dance in the car?
Duh.  Tell me you can listen to Call Me Maybe and NOT sing and dance no matter where you are.  Impossible.
7.  Is it normal to take self-pictures in public?
Listen, I'll take self portraits in a public bathroom if necessary.  I can only imagine what the older generations think when they see us girls taking kissy face pics because we have to share the cute new sunnies we just got.
8.  Is it normal for women to have a gun license?
Yes.  Why not?
9. Is it normal to post pictures online of yourself in a bikini?
Ummm...see here.
10.  Is it normal to like the smell of gasoline?
I don't think I've met a person who doesn't like the smell.  Or even if they don't "like" it they don't say "ew" either.  I think that's just one of those things that we're all just born with.  Right?

This is my normal, what about you?

  1. Ah I wish I was home so I could do this one! I looove the smell of gasoline I think it's impossible not to, much like the smell of burning leaves in fall.

  2. My husband is the "wait all day and poop at home" type, and I'm all REALLY?!?!? What is it with these boys. They act all tough but really they won't poop anywhere but their own bathrooms? Give.me.a.break.

Also, I am all for selfies, but I freaking hate seeing duck-lips or kissy face photos. Just reminds me of myspace. :)) I'd like to forget myspace.

  3. I feel the same about pooping in public restrooms lol. I've seen public bathrooms that are cleaner than the toilets at some people's houses, so it's all good!

  4. Hubs doesn't like to poop in public either.

My driver's license still says I weigh 150.

I love the smell of gasoline.

Singing and dancing in the car and self portraits - always and forever, amen!

  6. I think #3 is a modest thing Bc I refuse to go in a public bathroom... I had a hard time peeing in the labor and delivery suite with people standing in the other side of the door:) I am a freak apparently!!!

The smell of gasoline makes me want to vomit and always gives me a headache!!! Yucko times a million...

  7. My husband will wait to go #2 at home even if it means being super uncomfortable for hours. He's even stopped at his parents and sisters house to poop instead of going in a public restoom...however he has no problem shitting in the woods when he's camping.

I have no issues pooping in a public restroom, if I gotta go I gotta go. However the thought of going outside freaks me out which is why I refuse to camp. I need to have a toilet! haha.

  10. I'm turn into a teenager when Call Me Maybe comes on the radio. It's pathetic, but I love it.
    :)
    Thanks for linking up today!
    Have an awesome Tuesday!

  11. I HATE the smell of gasoline. It makes me want to hurl. Disgusting! My oldest is the same. She can hardly stand to go to the gas station. I don't think any of my kids like the smell, actually.

  12. Everytime Call Me Maybe comes on the radio I have to sing my little heart out!

Hubby will go #2 anywhere.. I'm the complete opposite, only my own bathroom please! x

  14. Okay I am of the wait and go when you get home variety. I'm a shy pee'er. There's no way I can do the number 2 out and about!

And people like the smell of gas? really? Apparently I'm not normal....

And I love a good self portrait but not the kissy faces. Unless you're two. Then it's cute ;)

  15. Interactive Presentation

It's normal to lie about our age. Who wants to tell the world how old they are especially if in their late years? No one. We don't want others to know that we're old.

  16. I think it's totally normal to poop in a public restroom. I mean if you have to go there's nothing you can do and holding it is bad! lol
