Hear me out.
I wanted these jeans {I can't find them online}. They had zippers. They were skinny. They were bad ass. I'm fairly certain that coming home with them would have earned me some major brownie points with Jimmy too. BUT I'm not at the size I want to be to be rocking such a trend so I passed them up.
I heard or read somewhere that camo is being seen as the new neutral. Kinda like leopard. They're both bold patterns but you can mix and match them with stuff the same way you can grey, so they say.

But I'm no fashion expert so I'm asking you. What do you think of camo as a neutral? Or the camo trend altogether? Love it? Hate it? Let's chat.
I don't know. I actually NEVER thought about camo. But this post is making me want them.
ReplyDeletethose were on on line at Old Navy. They are the one's I have that you thought were leggins. Very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI've definitely seen a huge trend of camo as a neutral this fall. Personally I don't wear any, because other that for hunting reasons, Skip hates when regular people wear camo. It's a Marine thing;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the camo pant thing in the skinnies! They're hot!
ReplyDeleteI love camo! I just bought a super cute pair of Guess tennis shoes and I am loving them. I am dying for a pair of camo pants this year.

ReplyDeleteCheck this blog post out, she wore camo pants to a fashion show in NYC. she rocked the camo pants and I think you could too!!
I would have never imagined wearing camo. But looking at your pictures and this post, I'm thinking I need to make a trip to Target ASAP! And preferably for 2 hours ALONE! Jealous! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThe way those models are wearing camo in the photo above is awesome! I'm not sure I could look that awesome in camo, but I would be willing to try it.
ReplyDeleteI love camo. I bought a pair of canvas camo print converse style sneakers for myself at Target a couple of weeks ago. I am totally coveting the camo jacket in that picture up there. I think I need it. NEED.
ReplyDeleteI totally think camo can be a neutral :) CUTE!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking as your friend who works in fashion for a living, yes. Camo is a neutral. Yes you can pair camo and camo together you just have to be careful.
ReplyDeletei have a camo coat from the gap which i LOVE, but i can never seem to pull it off with so many prints like others do! perhaps its my body shape. all these fashion bloggers have the complete opposite shape of myself, and my boobs ruin the look of almost anything. even though i have no idea how to wear it as a neutral, id say its becoming one for sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the not being the size you want! My husband doesn't understand how hard it's been for me (unlike you I haven't reached a comfortable weight since 2010 when I had Row) to find clothes! I got a magic time at Target last week too and found a great lightweight (we live in the south) cardigan for $11!!
ReplyDeleteLove them!!! I would totes rock those too!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to think of the camo. On the models I think it's cute but I don't think I could pull it off. I am not at my comfortable weight, but I have also always had a rule. I hunt, I wear camo during hunting season. I made a vow the rule that I wouldn't wear it otherwise. Now I know the camo that is "in style" isn't Real Tree or anything it is just don't think I could bring myself to wear it.
ReplyDeleteI am the lone dissenter, I guess. I say no to camo. But I'm also old and like plain, classic clothing. LOL
