My Favorite Things

What would Christmas be without a few of my favorite things?  Well, it'd still be Christmas, obviously, but I just love to share things that I love with you guys.  I always like reading posts where people share their Christmas lists/favorite products because 1. my Christmas list is lacking and 2. I've found a lot of great products this way.  So here are some things I love.

1. Old Navy Womens Vintage Raglan Crew Tees - Bright white
Old Navy Womens Vintage Raglan Crew Tees - Bright white

I ordered this before I had James because it looked like a nice, soft, comfy, great for my post-baby bod shirt.  Boy was I right!  I've ordered more since then and I live in them! Super soft and somewhat loose on the belly area but still fitted enough to not look sloppy.  Love it!

2.  Amaranth Collection Fleece Lined Leggings.
Fleece lined leggings are God's gift to leggings.  I swear.  How have I survived the past 30 winters without these?  They're like a combination of sweatpants and leggings.  You cannot see through them, at all.  These are only $10 with free shipping through the end of the year.  If you order by Friday you can get an additional 15% off with code 'dewblog15'.  Buy now, thank me later.

I was obsessing and obsessing over what drink to make for my cookie exchange party this weekend.  I wanted something festive and Pinterest just overwhelmed me with ideas.  I made this drink a few years ago on Christmas and while it's not in the least bit healthy it was SO good.  So I made it again.  It's not a cheap drink, that bottle of Godiva will run you about $27, but it's really really good.  I'm not even a white chocolate lover but I love this so much.  If you are looking for a great holiday drink, look no further.

My friend Amy, you guys know her as the Peace Tee lady, has been using these cases forever and I have loved them forever.  I got my own and now I'm addicted.  I want all the colors, all the snap ons, super cute!  They are very durable and I love that you can buy just new colors if you want to change things up a bit.  They're pricier than I'd normally spend on a phone case but I've used it for over a year and it's still going strong so I'd say it's worth it.  Makes a great gift too, I got my mom one for Christmas last year.

I'm fairly certain I've talked about my love for this blanket before but I just had to share it one more time.  I LOVE this blanket!  So much so that I found out that there is an adult version called the Daydream Blanket and I put it on my Christmas list.  It's big, perfect for laying on the floor for play time, it's super soft, just like the swaddles, and look at all those fun patterns!  If you follow Baby Cheapskate on Facebook they are always posting when there are deals on these through Amazon so you can get them at a more reasonable price.  Love these.

I've known about Skinnytaste for quite some time now.  I would randomly go on and look at some recipes but lately I've been doing all of my meal planning from this site.  This week we've had her Swedish meatballs, cheeseburger casserole, stuffed pepper soup and shepherds pie, all have been SO good, so so good.  I love that you can search by categories, she even has clean eating and Paleo friendly recipes.  Everything's been really easy too which is just an added bonus.

7.  Clothespin Ornament Kits.
So it's not on Targets website BUT...I knew that we were going to be making some ornaments for the tree, per our advent calendar, and of course to Target I went.  I searched and searched for something that was 3-year-old friendly and I found this really cute clothespin ornament making kit.  It's just clothespins and stickers, essentially, and it was a hit.  There were 10 ornaments total and Kendall was able to do them with minimal help and LOVED it.  It was $3, I believe, and it was the perfect little craft for a snowy day.  I found it in the Christmas department.

OK, that's all we have time for today, babies are waking up.  What are some things you are loving right now?

  3. OMG I just went to the Old Navy site to look at those shirts and just about died laughing at one of the reviews. So, I gotta ask are you trying to win a wet tshirt contest with that bad boy? lol

"The shirt is adorable and looks cute on, very flattering - but - I purchased it in white and had to return it. The density of the fabric is comparable to the tissue paper you would use in a gift bag. See through! And I'm not talking about just being able to see your bra (or lack of one if you roll that way), but I mean you can see your flesh right through it. It's like a mix of lingerie and a cute shirt. I would not be comfortable wearing this out in public in white. Maybe black or navy...definitely not white. But hey, if you plan on winning a wet tshirt contest then this might be your ticket."

  9. Ok I've got to get myself some fleece leggings. I just don't know if I would wear any color other than black. But they seem so soft and fun in bright colors. Decisions decisions. . .

  10. I got a pair of the leggings - I'm a size 6 & 5'4" & they fit me like capri pants not leggings. Is that just how they fit? I am pleased with how warm they are but wish they were longer.

  11. I don't get to Target often (too far away haha) but I went the other day and I was surprised with how many kids ornaments and crafts they had! We have an advent calendar and some days there is a piece of candy in the doors, but I like to put activities for most days since I am home on maternity leave, so the target ornament crafts are perfect activities!
