SO WHAT! Wednesday

This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...
Life After I Dew
  • I almost didn't do a SWW post today.  We watched a movie last night and I went straight to bed, completely forgot.
  • We haven't left the house in three days.  OK never mind.  That sucks.  This cold weather sucks.
  • I'm kind of interested to watch the movie Her. A man who falls in love with his "Siri"?  Doesn't sound too far fetched in this day and age.  Sign me up.
  • I love Bethenny.  I love her show, I love her personality, I love her.  I just bought her yoga DVDs and I can't wait to try them today.
  • I attempted a workout last week that consisted of 1/2 mile run, 10 push ups, 20 squats, 30 sit ups {repeat 6 times} and thought I was going to DIE at the third round.  I will get to round 6 eventually.  That is my new goal.
  • I think it's easier to bathe my kids separately.  I know most people prefer to do them together but Kendall loves to stay in forever and James is a "wham bam thank you ma'am" type.
  • I'm already planning on what I'm going to buy with my Old Navy Super Cash in a couple of weeks.  That's right, it doesn't even start till the 18th and I already know what I'm going to spend it on.
  • I cry watching Parenthood.  Every. Week.

  1. I am sick of this cold and its only in the 40's here. BRRRRR. I am totally not cut out for this weather. Perfect time to start a new work out though...stuck inside so might as well work out. And can I just tell you that I LOVE Bethenny! She rocks. I love how she just says whatever :)

  4. So those are the type of workouts I do all the time, they're bootcamp style, circuit-training stuff, they really are the way your body changes. But. If I were you, I'd eliminate the 1/2 mile run, and add in something else, like, 40 mountain climbers or something, and then do it 5x. You'll have yourself a good workout and the mountain climbers will get your heartrate up cardio style. Try that!? The 1/2 mile run each time would kill me, too and I'd never make it 6 times (I mean, maybe, but I wouldnt WANT to). Good job lady!

  6. I have to say I LOVE your blog. I can see myself in many things you say and do!

I started watching Parenthood on Netflix to get caught up on the current season, but when the new season rolled out, I lost interest. BOO! I loved that show too.

  7. Love Bethenny too. A friend and I are trying to get tickets to the show! I think it would be a blast!!! =)

My girls ages 2.5 and 9 months bathe together. My littlest used to hate the bath and wanted to be in and out but like Kendall, my Savannah would stay in all day long. I started bringing all of the baby's stuff in the bathroom and I got her out and dressed on the floor while I let Savannah play longer. Was way easier that way and both girls got there way...Mama too!

  8. I don't give my kids baths together either for the same reason. I always cry watching Parenthood. Sometime I think I might get through and then BAM! They end it with something cry worthy. Best show!

  9. I used to bathe my kids separately...but when my LO got older (at like 6 months), my son just jumped into the bath too and since then they've been bathing together. They spend most of the bath time splashing at each other and she (LO) hasn't minded yet! lol

  11. I do separate baths too! Toddler wants to play, infant is done in 5 minutes or less! :)

I also didn't leave the house from Sunday through today. I am ready for it to be in the balmy 40s this weekend!

  12. I love the Bethenny yoga DVD! And I cringe when Carsyn begs to bath with Hank- way too much chaos!

  13. Bethenny is amazing. By far my favorite housewife, and that is saying wuite a bit considering how loyal I am to Bravo-lebrities... except DC and Miami, they suck. Was Parenthood back this week? I think I started watching this show because you mentioned and it so SO GOOD. Lastly, as a babysitter for a big sister/little brother combo (a few years older than yours but I started when they were your age), let me say thank you for bathing them separately! It gets weird to try to explain why they can't bathe together at an older age when they've been doing it for so long.
