FALLing For...

I was going to say fall because the weather last week was so autumn-y it had me warming Autumn Sunset in my Scentsy warmers, getting out my fall decor and drinking fallish flavored coffees {basically anything cinnamon}.  And now we're back to 90s, hot, humid and hazy.

Don't get me wrong, I am a "the hotter the better" type of girl and I love all things summer but you cannot argue with fall in Ohio.  September really is the most gorgeous month.  It's still warm and you can get away with shorts and tank tops but the nights and mornings are chilly enough.  The humidity is pretty low.  It's basically what I imagine living in San Diego is like, perfection.

Since now all I can think about is fall themed things I complied a bucket list for the next few months a long with a few things that caught my attention recently.

I love a summer dress turned fall with a scarf, cardi and some tights.

I've had the brightest blonde hair all summer but I'm thinking of ombre again and I l-o-v-e this.

I can't wait to get my hands on a jug of apple cider for my all time favorite adult beverage.

My all time favorite SUPER EASY fall breakfast item.

This blog has super cool fall science activities to do with the kids!  Exploding ghosts, erupting pumpkins, pine cone weather stations and MORE!  Can't wait to try some of these with the kids.

My front door has either had a super springy wreath I made years ago or a Christmas wreath for, oh, a couple years.  I think it's time I change that.

What do you love about fall?  What are you most looking forward to this season?  Don't the colors and warmth of these pics just make you feel all cozy inside?!

  1. Hi Shannon,

I absolutely love Fall as well. I love the craft link you posted- we love crafts at our house! And that wreath?! Love it! Fall to me is- college football, jeans, sweatshirts and boots weather, and warm drinks. I really like the ombre hair- think it would look great on you! Great to see you posting more, I enjoy reading your posts! As always, thanks for sharing!

  2. I am a summer girl but Fall is my second runner up. That wreath is super cute. I am going to have to check out the leaf art, etc. blog... I am always looking for a good nature craft for the kiddos that camp at our family clubhouse. This weekend I didn't plan any but I may have to take a look and do some last minute planning.... and the hair! I say go for it, it's super cute.
