SO WHAT Wednesday!

This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...

  • I didn't like 21 Day Fix.
  • I'm way too interested in knowing, is Brooks lying about having cancer!?
  • I was really disturbed when I went to Starbucks on Sunday and saw that #redcups are out already.  I mean, what?! I'm still recovering from my post trick-or-treat binge.
  • I sometimes think about having another baby.  Not enough to actually have said baby but sometimes I miss a brand new baby.
  • I want to wear a romper to our annual friend Christmas dinner.  I'm not too old, right?  RIGHT?!
  • I now buy my kids ICEE's to keep them quiet {and in the cart} at Target now.  My once nightmare-ish trips have turned pleasant thanks to a little $2 drink.
  • I'm slightly obsessed with Babs from My Big Fat Fabulous Life.  I want her to be my mom, or grandma, or friend.  Love her!
  • I've used Jimmy being on his trip as an excuse not to shower every day.  But don't worry, I at least shower every other day ;-)
  • I just now, as in it's arriving today, own a plaid blanket scarf.  And I'm pretty sure they'll be uncool as soon as I put mine on.  Always a step behind all of the trends.
  • James still has his pacifier.  I know he won't go to college with it so whatever.  He's my baby.
  • I've found the perfect sippy cup.  I know, you thought it didn't exist either but it does and it's cheap!  It took James a second to figure it out but now that he's mastered it he's obsessed too.
  • I started T25 Gamma Hybrid on Monday.  I forgot how much I loved this program!
  • I decided to dress up for Halloween at the last minute and went as the same cat/cheetah I've been at least three times before.
  • I'm taking back what I said about wanting a puppy last week.  I'm so over dogs after mine just ate my kids dinner for the millionth time this week.
  • I care more about Jimmy's birthday than he does.  It's Friday and we have nothing planned.  I love to celebrate and he would rather go hunting.

  1. Not sure what the deal with those red cups are either ... umm, Thanksgiving, anyone? NO, save yourself. Do not have another baby. 2 kids is plenty. Ha! No, but, seriously, 3 kids is nuts especially when you are not used to having a baby for almost 5 years and got used to kids being so self sufficient, being able to workout all the time, going grocery shopping without half your house, and I could go on and on. You are welcome to borrow my baby any time! 3 kids is crazy, and talk about never getting any break. I love him and wouldn't change things for the world, but people are not joking when they talk about that third kid. Romper? No. You are not 11. Good for you for dressing up. Your kids will always remember that! Trust me. They will talk about it for years. N is the same way about his birthday, though he is always deployed on his birthday and we don't even have opportunities to talk so could be worse. I hear you though ... guys don't care about their birthdays once they are past 10 years old.

    1. hahahahahahha OK OK I won't do the romper. I was thinking with tights and some wedge booties and maybe a slouchy cardi? If that makes it any better ;-) But trust, I won't do the 3rd baby unless I have baby fever for like a year PLUS! Ha! I just need a baby to snuggle, ship me D3!

    2. That may be cute then with a romper, but I think of D1 when I think of rompers. Though you can wear anything and make it look cute, so I bet you would rock that outfit. I love wedges, and they go well with just about anything. I am sure you will pull it off! Ohhhh...girl...3 is nuts. Most of...like 97% of all of my closest friends, have three or more kids. My bestie has 5 girls (from 2 years old to 11 years old). I tend to make friends and get along best with mommas of big families for whatever reason. Anyway, they all congratulated me when D3 was born and were all happy, and then the honest thoughts came forward ... "Yeah, it's kind of crazy with that many kids!" "Ummm, didn't want to tell you ... but yeah, it's NUTS!" "Welcome to the GO CRAZY club!" My friends bring me wine! Hahahaha! I'm just going say it now -- three is a freaking circus. This is coming from someone who absolutely LOVES children. I am a teacher. But, three kids is still crazy in a family. I don't know how your MIL did with 4 boys ... she is a SAINT. And she is totally my hero. With two boys, I know my hair is turning gray already. You can borrow D3 anytime. Seriously, snuggle him all you want.

    3. I tell people all the time that she is an angel on earth. She's the best, seriously, love that woman! But my BFF has 3 girls and she tells me all the time how crazy she is but then in the next breath she says she wants a 4th! So I get it! I know me and I don't think I could handle it, I can barely handle two!

    4. She is. And, she is such a positive person!!! I love being around her and your FIL. They are the happiest people on Earth that I personally know. Your FIL has the most contagious laugh ever. I want to record it so when I am having a bad day, I can play it and laugh. That's me too! Ha! I say three is nuts, but then I drive N nuts with, "Hey, do you want to have a 4th?" What's another...seriously to the circus.

    1. I DON'T KNOW!!!! They're doing a special "Brooks Tells All" in a couple weeks but he's not going to admit he lied about cancer!! I think he's lying. I don't think he had it and I think he was using it to manipulate Vicki.

  6. I've been struggling with getting back into blogging, but this just might be the motivation I need. I've missed SWW!
My husband hates his birthday too despite my efforts over the last 8 birthdays to change his opinion.

  7. We like those types of sippys too but those specific ones, make sure to take the white part out of the lid every washing. We didn't realize and oops. mold. Try the Sassy 360. They are 2 pieces, lid and cup and work the same way AND they're cheaper ;)

  8. There are days where I have severe cases of baby fever! However, I remind myself that babies eventually turn into toddlers, then school age kids, and my new favorite?! Preteens! Well, only for another 20 days and I will officially be the mom of a teenager! I.just.can't! Borrow babies and snuggle them and return. Best way to do it! haha
I love Shaun T and T25! I have been meaning to restart the T25 cycles, but I am too lazy to try and the cords that connect the dvd player to our tv. Instead I force myself to get out to the gym. I think you totally could pull of a romper! Maybe you can pair it with your new scarf?! Have a great day!

    1. OK I'll follow your advice! Being outnumbered by kids freaks me out, honestly! I don't know what we'd do if we didn't have man on man defense!!!

  9. I live so far from a Starbucks and haven't got to enjoy one in well over 3 months that I am just "meh" about red cups being out... I know it's their Christmas cups but meh. I read your posts and it makes me want to work out so bad. T25 will be a program I do when Tim's in the fields in the spring, he hates that program.
I will be getting a girl puppy so I have some sort of estrogen in my house, it may not be this year or next but it will be in the next 5 years.
