SO WHAT! Wednesday

This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...

  • I geeked out a lot a little when Break Thru Radio emailed me earlier this week wanting to interview me for their podcast, Biology of the Blog.  WHAT?! ME?!
  • I missed Minted's $25 off sale because I just couldn't commit to a card design.  Maybe I should just send three different Christmas cards this year.
  • I'm obsessed with the show Kingdom.  Not just for the eye candy either, hello Frank Grillo, it has a great story too.
  • I always have at least two flavors of coffee creamer at any given time, I like to have options.
  • I've already bought a dress to wear for our annual friends Christmas dinner which is over a month away.
  • I look forward to going grocery shopping.  But only if it's kid-free because otherwise it's the most dreadful experience of my life {dramatic much?}.
  • I drive a big ole truck. Yep, sure do.
  • I kind of miss Kendall's really long hair.  When I see pictures I'm like, "noooooo why did we cut it!?" but then I brush it every morning and I quickly am reminded.
  • I was more excited than the kids watching Inside Out. Best kid movie, EVER!
  • I love listening to Dr. Laura.  I think she's a bit much sometimes, like when she hangs up on people, but generally speaking I agree with what she has to say.
  • I'm starting to think about potty training James.  More to come...
What are you saying SO WHAT to this week?

    1. My favorite are the Natural Bliss varieties but they don't carry many options at my local grocery store!

  2. I am so scared of the day Ashlyn asks for a hair cut. Her hair is a curly mess but I love it! Inside Out looks really cute. I've been thinking about pushing potty training too. Bryan seems to be taking an interest but I think it's going to be so much harder than it was with Ashlyn.

    1. Does she hate having her hair brushed though? Kendall HATES it and so it's a struggle every.single.day. So having it a bit shorter makes that part easier, not easy though. And yeah, I have a whole post about potty training boys coming tomorrow! I'm scared!!!!!!

  3. We started potty training this week. I got grossed out when I had to change Oli's stinky #2's. I was all... he is almost 2.5 and should be in underwear, he isn't a baby like E. Oh, the grocery shopping. I experienced it for the first time last Friday and NEVER again will I take a newborn AND a toddler. Toddler had to walk and touch EVERYTHING. Then we got to the alochol sections and I was all "hands on the cart". Most stressful hour of my life.

    1. Oh yeah! No thank you! James is the same way at the grocery store, climbs out of the cart and wants to walk! Freaks me out!!!! I'm waiting for them to come over the loud speaker, "if anyone lost a little boy please come to customer service".

  4. My kids hated Inside Out! They wanted to leave the cinema so badly and refuse to watch it again! Every time we pas a billboard or anything with it on it, they comment how much they didn't like it. They normally love every Disney/Pixar movie, but this one was just too sad for them.

  5. Currently my daughter's hair is brushing the top of her pants and we all love it. She adores having her hair done so as long as she is okay to have it brushed and braided we will leave it long. I dread the day I have to get it cut. Also we are working on potty training our 19 month old. She refuses to wear a diaper 90% of the time and folllows big sisters every queue. Makes my life easier and I would prefer to spend the diaper money elsewhere:)
