SO WHAT! Wednesday

So What Wednesday
This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...

  • I really like Katie Couric's new show.  Like, a lot.  I think it's a good fit for her.
  • I'm playing around with new layout ideas for my posts.  Sorry if it drives you crazy in the process.
  • I'm looking forward to my hair cut tomorrow more than any other time in my life before.  I need this. And it's not just the hair cut, I need the time to myself.
  • I am intrigued by Breaking Amish.  Completely intrigued.
  • I don't agree that imitation is the biggest form of flattery.  I think it's just being a copy-cat.
  • I drove 30 minutes to my parents on Monday just to take a shower and get ready in peace and quiet. Oh and Kendall got to see her Mimi & Popaw.
  • I have no idea what Kendall will be for Halloween.
  • I'm really excited that fall TV has started but we are so addicted to Dexter {on Netflix} that we haven't watched a lick of it.
  • I have no idea who I'm going to vote for in this presidential election.  I have no interest in politics whatsoever.
  • I said I wasn't doing a Challenge Your Closet this week and I did anyway.  My blog, I do what I want.
  • Jimmy and I already have tentative baby names for Baby Dew #2.
  • Kendall eats pretty much the same thing every day.  I know what she likes, she clearly knows what she likes, so I feed her just that.
  • I got excited when I saw how many of you signed up for Ebates last week!  I mean you guys are going to be so excited every time you earn money for doing what you do best, shopping!
  • Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff haven't lost all of their baby weight already.  They are proving that they are real women and I love both of them even more for that.
  • Vacuuming has been on my to-do list for almost a week and I still have yet to do it.
  • I think Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is a sad excuse for reality TV.  That's coming from a self-proclaimed reality TV whore.

  1. Im fascinated by Breaking Amish!!!

...oh, and my daughter Olivia eats the same things all the time too! At 2 years old, we do what works.

  2. I LOVE Breaking Amish too! I'm totally fascinated! My aunt is Minnonite (by marriage) and still follows many of the same "rules" though not as strict. I'm completely intrigued. Can't wait to hear your baby names.

  5. The Honey Boo Boo show? I watched 2 episodes when they were showing repeats a few weeks ago. So awful...

I agree about Hilary & Jessica. Good for them!

Do I know these tentative names? I mean, I know we talked about names, but do you have SET tentative names?

  6. Totally agree about the ladies losing baby weight. Did you read about Kate Hudson working out for 6 HOURS A DAY? What body is worth not spending that much time with your new baby?

Also tell me if you check out Breaking Amish. I am intrigued as well. There is also a show on Netflix that you and Jimmy would probably love after a glass of wine. It's called MALL COPS and it is seriously about the trials and hardships of being a mall cop at the Mall of America. Carl and I were doubled over laughing at how ridiculous it was (Santa's here! It's Black Friday! There's a celebrity book signing!) and how stressed they all were.

  7. Dexter is the best show ever.

I was really getting annoyed by JS, but I am happy that JS and HD can act like normal people. Losing baby weight is HARD!

  8. I ate the same things for about 15 years of my life(hot dogs and mac and cheese, healthy wholesome foods).
    My parents just gave in.
    I was an only child.
    That explains a lot.
Keep it up Mrs. Dew! ;)

  9. I have no ideas for Halloween either! If you get a good boy costume idea send it my way and I'll do the same for you for KP! And I'm guessing that KP as Honey Boo Boo is out of the question?!? :)

I'm curious as to what KP eats every day. Is she pretty picky otherwise? Rhys is touch and go with foods but loves those damn fruit squeezies. So much so that I bought 40+ when they went BOGO at Publix!

And I'm loving that you are (even tentatively) picking out names for Baby Dew #2. Here's wishing REAL HARD for this to be the month for you!!

  11. Those dang reality show take over my life! Between The Voice and the X Factor, I have yet to watch any new sitcoms. (Dexter rocks my world, too!) And tentative baby names?! Woohoo! Will you share once you find out the sex or do you keep it a secret?? I have to say, having a secret is FUN! But hard!

Jessica and Hilary are amazing in my book; takes the pressure off a little AND shows that it is really HARD to lose those baby lbs...ever for celebrities!

  14. Totally agree on the Honey Boo Boo! It's a train wreck. I've wanted to watch Katie (esp since she was the guest when I went to see Live with Kelly) but I haven't had the chance. 4-5pm is witching hour!

  15. Honey Boo Boo makes me embarrassed to be from Georgia. What a freaking hot mess.

And I'm with you on Halloween. I'm at a loss but BG keeps saying she wants to be a Princess. Now if I could only figure out how to make that unique..

  16. I love what you said about Imitation ;) and I do love me some Reality TV, but I simply can not understand some shows and why there is such a need to glamorize something such as 16 and pregnant.

    Have a Great Day Girl,

ps, I wonder if those baby dew 2 names will change?
