SO WHAT! Wednesday

So What Wednesday
This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...

  • I had a kid-free day yesterday {thank to my most amazing mother-in-law} and I spent it online shopping.  No not out shopping {well I did that too} but online shopping.  I had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket.
  • I think online is more fun than real shopping.  I like to find the best deal possible so I get the most bang for my buck {thank you Ebates} and so that's way easier online than driving from store, to store, to store.
  • I'm thinking of going to the dark side again.  As in my hair.
  • I dropped the ball on taking Chanel to get her stitches removed and didn't do it for a whole week and a half after I was supposed to.
  • We put plastic up around our windows this year.  Ghetto?  Probably but I REFUSE to have another $400 electric bill this winter.
  • I've stopped picking up Kendall's toys until the end of the day.  I used to do it during nap time too but now I learned, what's the point?
  • I have ads on my blog.  I know some people find it annoying but it earns me a little tiny bit of extra money each month and that money busy us groceries, puts gas in my car, or maybe gets Kendall a pack or 5 of stickers.
  • Instead of wearing yoga pants the past few days I classed it up and threw on leggings.
  • After declaring my hatred for naps last week I contemplated taking on yesterday but figured that was a waste of kid-free time
  • Kendall has been sporting a temporary tattoo since Sunday.  She will not let me wash it off.
  • My husband's underwear cost more than his jeans.
  • Kendall's Halloween costume is store bought and only cost $10.  She loves it.
  • We've started a new Friday night tradition that involves making the Chef Boyardee pizza kit.  I look forward to it all week.
  • I'm pretty sure I missed the 2 year SWW anniversary.  Can you believe we've been linking up for 2 years now!?

  1. Happy 2 year SSW anniversary! Woohooo!

Haaaa and great minds think alike! I posted about Chef Boyardee in my SSW too! Since I was about 7 that's been one of my favorite pizzas - and for the last 4 years my best friend has brought 3 of the kits over from the US to England every time she visits. Dedication or what?!

  2. I totally agree about online shopping!! I've been thinking about going darker and shorter with my hair lately too. Sometimes you just need a change. And wow, 2 years of SWW & I've only linked up twice! (In my defense my blog was only born 2 months ago) Hope you have a great day day!

  5. Does the plastic on the window really help? We have had it sitting on our fridge for two years and never put it on. BUT due to our crappy apartment and the stupid loft above the living room our electric bills are like $300 a month in the winter and that makes me want to puke!

  6. I pick up Hadley's toys 3-4 times a day? Why? I have no idea. I guess it gives her something to do. If all her toys were already out she would have nothing to do since she doesn't actually play with her toys.

  7. The husband's undies costing more than his jeans made me LOL. Same thing here!!

  8. Friday Night Pizza Night is the BEST tradition. I don't blame you for having ads. Why not? Every little bit counts. What kind of underwear does your husband wear? Not to be all creepy... but either they are really great or he buys wal-mart jeans. :)

  10. I also need to know what kind of underwear Jimmy wears!!!!! And I pick up Lucas' toys every night. At least every night. Actually he does, but I make him. It's for my sanity.

  11. I don't mind the ads in general...but that talking one drives me up the wall. Maybe you get rich off of it, but I hate it. It's hard to stealth-read blogs at work when they start talking!

  12. We are also putting plastic up on our windows! It really does help!

  13. Horray for a kid free day. Those are so necessary sometimes just to recharge. I So-Whated about this last week, but I think there is no shame in having ads up on the blog. Yours are not obnoctious, like so many other blogs with blogher can be. I'm glad that visiting your blog is all it takes to help support your sweet fam :) Leah {Lovely Life of Leah}

  14. I much prefer shopping online. I hate the crowds and lines with going to the actual stores.

  15. Call me ghetto too. We have oil heat which is equivalent to ROBBERY and we are covering our windows this year too!!

  16. I prefer online shopping too, no pushy sales people! And I can usually google a promo code.

Leggings instead of yoga pants? Very stylish! I still haven't made the switch from workout capris to leggings yet. It's almost cold enough!

  17. I have been using ebates every since you blogged about it! I saved like 56 cents at target, but that will eventually add up! It's better then nothing!

Also, I can link up again! Poo! Am I doing something wrong?

  21. Yay for a me day! I want to see the dark hair - do it!!!

PS - I used to clean up the playroom every night. Nomatterwhat. Now? I only clean up Mia's playroom every few days and the weekends, I let it go until Sunday night most weekends. What's the point? It's just more work for us.
