SO WHAT Wednesday

This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...
Life After I Dew

  • I want to punch the makers of Tummy Stuffers, Dream Lights, Seat Pets, Flashlight Friends, Glow Pets and Flipeez.  Your shit makes my kid squeal with excitement but COME ON.  They are all basically the same thing and I'm quite certain that Tummy Stuffers are just teaching our children to be hoarders.
  • I want to drive my "new car" off a cliff.  It's not actually new {it's a 2011 that we bought over the summer}, but it is actually a piece of junk.
  • I stopped verifying the links to this link-up.  If people want to cheat, be dishonest, that's on them.
  • I broke my own "respect the turkey" rule and we went to a Christmas lights festival last weekend.  I mean, how can I deny my children of such events?
  • I want to win my own giveaway.
  • There's a half eaten bag of popcorn in our basement that I refuse to clean up or throw away because I didn't take it down there {Jimmy did}.
  • I took a break from Pretty Little Liars, for almost a year, but I just started back up and I'm hooked all over again.  My mom will be happy to know this.
  • I think I've turned my son into a mama's boy.
  • I've got no idea what I'm taking to either Thanksgiving dinner we're going to.  Suggestions welcome.

  1. Oh PLL, I got so into it and then was getting so annoyed at the show....JUST TELL ME WHO A IS. Well I started back up watching it on my maternity leave and was hooked again. I swear I didnt do anything but feed a baby and watch PLL. So addicting.

  2. Mike is a Mama's boy too! I love it haha Also, my husband would tell you to get rid of the new car and get a certified used Chevy. I don't know why everyone has a brand but that's the only "American" car he will buy.

  3. I love me some PLL. Have you watched this years Halloween episode yet? I was not as excited with it as I was with some in the past. It was all a big set up for Ravenswood which I'm not watching. Well at least not yet ;)

  6. I made Corn Casserole for a friendsgiving dinner a few weekends ago and it came out so good that I'm making it again for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. It's super easy and requires very little ingredients. Recipe on my blog: http://www.martinisbikinisblog.com/2013/11/taste-of-tuesday-thanksgiving-corn.html

  7. Hi Shannon! I'm linking up for the first time today and I just wanted to say I love your blog and I'm so glad I discovered it. :-) Such a bummer about your new car! It sucks to get something new and then realize that it isn't as amazing as you first thought (this happens to me all the time since I'm addicted to ordering stuff off infomercials, LOL). Anyway I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and that you figure out what to bring... I'm kind of in the same boat so unfortunately I'm no help!

  8. I'm doing veggies and Greek yogurt ranch dip. My son is a total mamas boy. He loves his daddy but mama is for sure his favorite. My mil is trying to get me to let her take him and I'm freaking out about it. I have about a million reasons why.

  9. My son....big Mamma's boy. I love it of course! Makes it hard for people to babysit, though. I can't wait to take the kids to see Christmas lights this year. We are planning a trip soon!

  10. I am making sweet potato casserole and broccoli and cheese casserole. I like the concept of casseroles, throw everything in a dish and bake. The stuffies commercial always gets stuck in my head! "How much stuff can you stuff in a stuffie before a stuffie's got enough stuff?" Aaaaah!
