The best part of Mother's Day was seeing this girl. The girl who made me a mama {or mommy as she now calls me}.
Nothing else mattered.
The gifts were great but not necessary. The "let me get that for yous" were a nice gesture. And the getting to do nothing but relax was awesome.
But all I wanted was to hug and squeeze this one and soak in the greatest gift in life, my girl.

ReplyDeleteYes--so sweet! Looks like such a great day and I'm with ya, Mother's Day is all about spending time with the wee bits. I had a stomach bug yesterday morning and spent most of the day in bed attempting to get up every now and then because I so badly wanted to spend time with W!
