SO WHAT! Wednesday

This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...

  • I'm really excited about the scarf I've been crocheting {#grandmastatus}.  It's not turning out half bad, I just might actually be able to wear it!
  • I really want to keep our Christmas tree up year round.  Our house is so cozy and the light it gives off is just perfect.
  • I'm debating my surgery now and leaning towards not having it. Lots of factors to think about...stay tuned.
  • I really want to make one of those adorable floral crowns I posted about yesterday.  I think Kendall would just be precious in one.
  • It's everything I have in me to not give the kids their Christmas gifts.  I am terrible with surprises and knowing I have them is killing me.
  • I colored my hair chocolate brown with box hair dye from Dollar General.  Whatever.  It's just hair and it took 30 minutes and only $7 and I love it.
  • I didn't really like the new Holiday Spice Flat White at Starbucks.  I really wanted to like it but...meh...I don't have to order it again.
  • I was constantly refreshing UsWeekly's twitter feed waiting for the Kimye baby boy name announcement.  Saint West?  Pompous much? But, really, did we expect differently?
  • I really thought the Zoomer Kitty Kendall wanted so badly was going to be really lame.  Then we got it and I watched the little YouTube video and it's actually pretty cute!
  • We bake cookies once a week in our house.  Kendall's favorite thing ever is making chocolate chip cookies so once a week we but out all the ingredients and whip up a big batch.
  • I've never seen Miracle on 34th Street.  Is it good? Should I watch?
What are you saying SO WHAT to this week?

  1. I am the same way with the Christmas gifts. They are currently sitting in my room with a blanket over them. How to I keep from giving them to my boys. I was planning on trying the SB Flat White this week. I am trying to keep my standards for it low so I am not disappointed if I don't like it. I tell Tim all the time I love our house more when there is a Christmas tree up.

  2. I want to keep the tree up year round too - but now that we've moved into a smaller place finding room for a tree just for 1 month is a task! Which is also why I made my husband buy a small desk tree last year so we could keep it up all the time! HAHA!

Also, you've never seen Miracle of 34th Street?? You need to drop everything you're doing and watch it now! It's my all time favorite christmas movie!

  3. I know people who keep a small tree up year round and decorate for each season or holiday. 4th of July is red, white and blue, Spring is birds and birdhouses, etc. I'm on board with that! I love my tree. I have a harder time not giving gifts to my husband. The kids are easy but for some reason the husband is not!
